E.E.U.U. (Revista E) - The Mazda SHINARI is a pure design concept model of a four-door, four-seater sports coupe which perfectly expresses the ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ design theme in a graceful and carefree form.

United States (Revista E) – To help commemorate Jaguar’s 75th Anniversary, Jaguar’s engineering team constructed a limited edition XKR that would deliver a combination of enhanced performance, superb chassis and steering controls to inspire driving enthusiasts to explore the true potential of the XKR’s capabilities. The 2011 XKR175 Anniversary Coupe features a supercharged V8 that delivers a 510hp and 461 lb-ft of torque reaching speeds of 174 mph. Production of the XKR175 is limited to 175 vehicles at an MSRP of $104,500 (including destination charge).

Modena (Revista E) - The Maserati GranTurismo S Automatica – equipped with a sporty fixed-setting suspension and with the MC Sport Line kit – was tested on a route from the Trident home of Modena 1,000 kilometers north through the Mont Blanc Tunnel and then toward Paris, via Reims, the capital of the Champagne region.

U.K. (Revista E) – The Supersports Convertible, which is capable of a potential top speed of 202mph and a 0-60mph sprint time of 3.9 seconds, was piloted by the racing legend and honorary ‘Bentley Boy’ Derek Bell. The Supersports Convertible was joined in the supercar paddock by its equally powerful and capable coupe stablemate – the 621bhp Bentley Continental Supersports. Both Continental Supersports models are now on sale with first deliveries of the convertible due later this summer.

Turin (Revista E) - Fiat is introducing a new innovative TwinAir two-cylinder 85 HP (900 cc) to celebrate the Fiat 500′s third birthday, which will be marketed starting from next September on the 500 (saloon and cabrio alike). The first of a new family of two-cylinder engines made by FPT, Fiat Powertrain Technologies, it implements the award-winning MultiAir system combined with specific fluid dynamics optimised for maximum fuel efficiency. Furthermore, by taking the concept of downsizing to the extreme and tuning the basic mechanics, the new family, delivering from 65 to 105 HP, emits 43% less CO2 than an engine of equal performance.

UK (Revista E) – Named the Range Rover Evoque, this all-new coupé will join the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport line-up in the summer of 2011. It will be the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient Range Rover ever produced. Customers have a choice of both a 4WD and a 2WD version, with a sub 130g/km CO2 demonstrating the Range Rover brand’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

UK (Revista E) - Mercedes-Benz UK has launched an exclusive new model, the C-Class DR 520 with more power and performance than any other C-Class.  Only 20 units of this car will be available, and it is sold exclusively through the company’s Specialist Products division at Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands, Surrey.

Based on the high-performance C 63 AMG, the DR 520 has a performance upgrade and boasts 520 hp and 650 Nm of torque, a 60 hp and 50 Nm advantage over than the standard C 63 AMG.  The DR 520 Saloon can reach 0-62 mph in just 4.1 seconds with the Estate achieving the same in 4.2 seconds, and both are electronically limited to a top speed of 187 mph.

The AMG Performance Pack Plus is fitted to the DR 520 as standard and features AMG’s high-performance braking system with red calipers, with the addition of engine upgrades in the form of forged pistons, newly-developed connecting rods and a revised crankshaft, as well as an AMG Carbon Fibre rear spoiler for the Saloon.

Available with a black or white matt wrap and complimented by Titanium finish alloy wheels, grille and discreet DR 520 badging on the wing and the boot lid, the DR 520 combines stealthy looks with potent performance.

Inside, the sports seats are upholstered in leather and exclusive Alcantara finished with red or white contrast stitching, as is the dashboard and upper door panels.  The multi-function AMG Performance steering wheel is clad in Nappa leather and Alcantara.

Nigel Unsworth, Specialist Products Division Manager commented:  “We wanted to launch the Specialist Products Division with something unique – and the DR 520 fits the bill perfectly.  Mercedes-Benz World is located at Brooklands, and there’s a proud history of ‘Brooklands Specials’ being sold here over the years.  The DR 520 – which is dyno-rated at 520 hp – is our chance to create an exclusive model in the UK.  It’s a great opportunity for us to offer our customers who enjoy sports and supercars a bespoke car with even more performance than the already very successful C 63 AMG.  And as well as the increased performance, it looks incredible, too.”

The DR 520 costs £9,995 above the standard C 63 AMG price, making the DR 520 Saloon £62,430 OTR and the Estate £63,680 OTR.  The cars are also backed by a three-year, 60,000 mileage warranty.

UK (Revista E) - The 2011 Range Rover features a new V8 diesel engine, new 8-speed transmission, two significant Terrain Response® upgrades and subtle external styling enhancements all combine to ensure the 2011 Range Rover retains its crown as king of the luxury SUV segment. The all-new LR-TDV8 4.4-litre with parallel sequential turbocharging, specifically designed for the Range Rover, replaces the 3.6-litre LR-TDV8 and combines substantially increased performance with greatly reduced emissions.

Sweden (Revista E) - Saab Automobile says it’s encouraged by sales just 3 months after the takeover by Spyker Cars. Saab also confirmed new plans to guarantee second-hand car values, and new Chairman Victor Muller says the company will be profitable in 2 years.

Modena (Revista E) - On the eve of the GranCabrio’s official debut in Asia at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, Maserati releases a new video of its first four-seater convertible. The GranCabrio, marketed in the US as GranTurismo Convertible, made its official worldwide debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show and has received since the worldwide acclamation by public and press. Alongside the GranCabrio, Maserati’s full product line will be on display at Auto China 2010, which opens the doors on Friday, April 23rd.
