glas_12758_162977_v2Glasgow (Revista E) - The former Royal Scottish Automobile Club, one of Glasgow’s most iconic buildings, has been transformed into a five star hotel. The £25 million (approx. EUR28 million, USD42 million) redevelopment of the landmark property has been carried out by Scotland’s boutique hotel group, The Town House Collection. The hotel boasts 100 bedrooms including six spacious suites and a top floor penthouse complete with rooftop hot tub. It also houses Glasgow’s first luxury spa offering Scottish treatments, a restaurant, bars, a private screening room and event facilities. Blythswood Square is one of Scotland’s most environmentally-friendly hotels through the incorporation of renewable energy technologies to achieve reduced carbon emissions.
